Professionals Sweat In The Gym

A great quote I recently stumbled upon is "the more you sweat in the gym, the less you bleed in the ring". As a person who grew up playing competitive sports, this makes sense to me. There is no easy way to be successful. It takes work, plain and simple.
I train sales people for a living. My job is to take a "traditional" sales person and transform them into a modern sales professional by up-leveling their skills. In return, they are able to transform into "trusted advisors" for their clients and reap the rewards of greater sales success - crushing their quotas, making big money, earning the respect of their peers and career advancement. In fact, many of my former students have gone on to have significant leadership roles at some iconic companies such as Salesforce, Slack, Lyft, Tanium, Teradata, Google, Wipro, SmartRecruiters, and others.
But here's the catch. My training, as helpful as it is, can only take you so far. I will teach you how to fish but it's up to you to practice, practice, and practice some more. There is a reason that Steph Curry can consistently hit 30 foot three pointers more consistently than anyone in the history of the game. There is a reason Serena Williams is the greatest female tennis player ever. There is a reason why many of my former students have w-2'd seven figures multiple times and consistently crush their numbers. They all, when no one is looking, practice their craft. Not only do they practice their craft, they have a burning desire to master it and strive to become "next level."
In other words, they sweat it the gym. Here is simple, low calorie way to improve at your craft. Spend 5-10 minutes everyday working on it. It's not a lot of time and the results can become very material.
